PureOps supplies and assists with the design, supply, and installation of a replacement Dry Scrubber System to replace the existing failed wet scrubber system. The new dry scrubber was designed to handle both Chlorine (Cl2) and Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) gasses in one-ton containers, utilizing the Purafil proprietary dry media Chlorsorb Ultra.
Scope of Work:
System design and sizing for replacement scrubber system; remove wet scrubber; prep concrete foundation and FRP ducting for new dry scrubber; install new FRP ducting and motorized dampers; install new scrubber vessel and load media via crane; remove and replace existing gas detection equipment; integration of controls and alarms to plant SCADA system; complete startup & training of operations staff.
