PureOps supplies and installs (4) 6-channel Halogen Safety Shutoff Actuator Systems at a WWTP in El Paso, TX. These actuators provide much needed safety at this facility being that there are 24 one-ton containers that may be online at any given time. The actuator controllers are tied into the chlorine gas detectors as well as emergency “panic” buttons located near the two exit doors. Regular maintenance on the Hydro Instruments Gas Detectors and Halogen Shutoff System is performed by PureOps.
Vista Real Pressure Tank Replacement
PureOps field crew performs the replacement of an aged and leaking hydropneumatic pressure tank and roof structure at the Vista Real Mobile Home Park.
Scope of Work:
Remove roof over tank building and prepare site for work; isolate wells from distribution system; drain old pressure tank; disconnect existing 2” galvanized steel plumbing from old pressure tank; subcontract with a crane services company for the removal of existing tank; hoist tank out of the station with crane and rigging; grind down and remove steel stand from concrete floor; install new schedule 80 PVC well piping to feed the bank of (4) new bladder tanks; install new 2” copper lines and pro-press fittings on distribution zones; connect distribution zones to the bladder tank manifold; pressure test and disinfect new piping and tanks; return the system back to service for the community; replace old roof with new framing and new roofing materials.

- (4) 185 Elbi Gallon Bladder Tanks
- Various 2” PVC and 2” copper piping, fittings, and isolation valves
- Various ancillary accessories / equipment (well control pressure switch, gauges, conduit, etc.)
- Completely new roofing structure and roofing materials (elastomeric roof system)
