PureOps assists factory technical support in the service and training of the entire chlorination system at a WTP in El Paso, TX. Utility staff was trained on disassembly, cleaning, and re-assembly of all chlorine gas feed equipment and components.

PureOps designs, supplies, and installs new 1.5” and 2” PRVs (Pressure Reducing Valves) for the Taos Pueblo to replace old failing infrastructure.

Scope of Work:

Remove and replace existing 1.5” and 2” Cla-Val PRVs; convert old leaking plumbing from galvanized steel to copper pipe.

PureOps supplies and installs (4) 6-channel Halogen Safety Shutoff Actuator Systems at a WWTP in El Paso, TX. These actuators provide much needed safety at this facility being that there are 24 one-ton containers that may be online at any given time. The actuator controllers are tied into the chlorine gas detectors as well as emergency “panic” buttons located near the two exit doors. Regular maintenance on the Hydro Instruments Gas Detectors and Halogen Shutoff System is performed by PureOps.

PureOps designs, supplies, and installs new 3” Hydro Instruments 10,000 PPD Chlorine Ejectors and services existing pacing valve floor cabinets without disrupting plant operations or chlorine injection.

Scope of Work:

Remove and replace existing 3” high capacity chlorine ejectors and related plumbing, install new 1” drain valves and 3” isolation valves, service high capacity pacing valve floor cabinets and related accessories (differential pressure regulators, vacuum trim valves, remote metering tubes). Conducted pressure and vacuum testing on all equipment and re-commissioned system.

PureOps supplies and assists with the design, supply, and installation of a replacement Dry Scrubber System to replace the existing failed wet scrubber system. The new dry scrubber was designed to handle both Chlorine (Cl2) and Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) gasses in one-ton containers, utilizing the Purafil proprietary dry media Chlorsorb Ultra.

Scope of Work:

System design and sizing for replacement scrubber system; remove wet scrubber; prep concrete foundation and FRP ducting for new dry scrubber; install new FRP ducting and motorized dampers; install new scrubber vessel and load media via crane; remove and replace existing gas detection equipment; integration of controls and alarms to plant SCADA system; complete startup & training of operations staff.
